Fundación Triángulo is a non-profit organization and NGDO that promotes the integration of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals into society, through not only formal but also real equality. Founded in 1996[1] it has branches in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Canary Islands and Extremadura. Until 2014, it also had a branch in Castilla-La Mancha.[2] It was inaugurated in early 2006.

Inaugurated at the beginning of 2006, the foundation had a headquarters in Toledo that carried out activities and provided services for the entire community of Castilla-La Mancha. In 2014, this headquarters ceased its activity.[2] It is a member of the Foundation.

It establishes relationships with associations and LGTB collectives in Latin America, awareness projects and has a network of urgent actions. In October 2007, they held the IV State Conference on International Cooperation with LGTB population.[4] It is one of the best known areas of the organization.

It is one of the best known areas of Fundación Triángulo. They hold annual film festivals in Madrid,[7] Extremadura ( FanCineGay Extremadura),[8] Valladolid,[9] Valencia,[10] and Andalusia (Andalesgai).[11]

With every talk we give, with every question we answer, we bring the reality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and other diversities (LGBTIQ people) closer to other people who perhaps did not really know what these acronyms mean, and also what they do not mean. We fight against prejudice in the classroom and in life.

Triángulo celebrates the European ruling that reaffirms the right of children of same-sex couples to be recognized throughout the EUFundación Triángulo stresses the «historic» importance of this ruling and trusts that it can be a real «lever for change» so that equal marriage and its derived rights are recognized in all countries of the world.
